Force 9’s Absence Planner is a networking application that simplifies the management of leave requests in an organisation. Its on-screen year planner shows leave already booked and wizards simplify the leave request and approval processes. Leave types and staff groups are easily identified on the screen.
A “traffic light” system of warning levels operates
at department level so potential understaffing can be recognised
before problems emerge. All employees see this view, so people don’t
tend to request leave when others will be away.
